NETHA AQHA Show A Huge Success!

"North East Texas Horsemen's Association hosted their first AQHA sanctioned show June 13, 14 & 15 at the Hopkins County Regional Civic 2008 AQHA ShowCenter. The show was a success with over 270 entries!  With classes ranging from Cutting, to Western Pleasure, Halter and Roping, there was something for all AQHA enthusiasts to show in. Many classes provided the entrants the opportunity to earn multiple points, and double judging is always quite popular.   Both of the Civic Center facilities were used for the show, and many participants really enjoyed the air conditioning of the indoor arena!  Folks traveled from as far away as Tennessee and Mississippi for the show and said they would for sure be coming back next year.

It had been 30+ years since Hopkins County hosted an AQHA show, and now it will become an annual event.  Our facilities are some of the best in the state, and we received so many positive responses, we anticipate this show to grow every year.  So many AQHA members are looking for show venues closer to home, too, and we are in the perfect spot to draw entrants from our surrounding states.

The event was sponsored by the North East Texas Horseman's Association and attracted over 270 entries in novice, amateur, and professional classes.
